My Wife demands deference but to outsiders it doesn’t look like Femdom, it looks like an attentive hubby in a ‘Woman-in-charge’ relationship. I’m not wearing a dress or high heels but i do wear what Nancy considers an appropriate apron for the group, one that can be quite feminine, although these are usually reserved for serving gatherings of family and close friends. Attire not withstanding, i am making Her and Her Guests the center of my attention. When Her visitors come i greet them as would a servant, hang coats, and bring them the drink of their choice. i also light cigarettes, and serve dinner or a snack as appropriate. Our protocols state that i have to routinely look in on my Wife and Her Visitors, making sure drinks are full, plates are cleared and the like. And i am to do this unobtrusively; i am not to engage in conversation unless a Woman initiates that discussion. i am to be polite at all times – it’s “Yes, Ma-am”, “No, Ma-am”, or “Right Away, Ma-am”. If asked a question, say on politics, i am to politely defer such questions with, “Oh, i don’t think about such things, Ma-am, You’d get a much better from Nancy or Sue (Nancy’s Mother)”. Nancy wants to dissuade Her guests from engaging me in conversation since it’s a bad habit many Women have; a man walks into a room of Women and suddenly he’s the center of conversation – not in our house! Nancy wants me to be looked upon as a servant, a maid, someone who’s invisible outside of a responsibility to the Women – it sometimes takes a while, but the Women Guests eventually come around and treat me accordingly. The hope is that they will see the benefits of Femdom and take up the lifestyle in their own relationships – some have.

Now one of our protocols is that there is as little conversation between me and the Women guests as possible so the Women use – and i understand – a series of hand gestures. Raising a glass means ‘refill’, raising a cigarette means ‘light’, showing a ‘v’ with two fingers means ‘I need a smoke’. While i make the rounds to check on Nancy and Her Guests, they may need to summon me. Now conversation between the Women and me is to be kept to a minimum so the Women have a bell that they ring to summon me – it’s a throwback to the Edwardian era when servants were summoned by a system of bells wired into the mansion. The bell rings, i respond, with a ‘Yes, Ladies” or a ‘Yes, Ma-am’ if it’s obvious as to the specific Woman who rang. And finally, the Woman are instructed to NEVER say ‘thank you’. Serving them is my role. If they do thank me, i turn back the thanks with a, “please Ma-am, that’s not necessary, it’s my privilege to serve’ and, yes, I mean it!

The whole ballet of serving Women is in our protocols that spell out how to serve a drink, light a cigarette, what to say, and so on. It spells out a practical routine that provides the Women services they deserve, while showing my deference and submissiveness to Nancy and to Women in general. i think that there are some useful items here and ones that we have adopted in our situation. Nancy, my Wife, controls our money, something that is easy for Her to do in an era of internet banking. She has long insisted that my pay be direct deposited into a joint account, the proceeds of which She transfers into Her account. She then pays the bills, manages our investments, and puts aside an amount for Her and Her Mother’s use. Nancy also has complete control over my benefits – again web access is helpful here – and our investments. The money i have access to is strictly what She gives me as an allowance. Anything beyond this requires justification. One can title cars and property in the Woman’s name and have a pre-nuptial agreement in place. There are many legal possibilities out there and one should contact an attorney as Nancy did in making our arrangements. Having financial control is THE most effective means of control for a Woman. One might also include an informal contract of “Roles, Responsibilities, and Expectations” before marriage to spell out what She expects so that there are no surprises afterward. Similarly, a Femdom couple would do well to establish and document a set of rules under which She will run the household; ours are called the ‘protocols’ and define expected courtesies in detail; there’s never any question of what is expected on our home – structure is wonderful.

A Female led relationship is a definite benefit for all involved. The man has clear expectations set and knows the consequences of their not being followed. The Woman gets what She wants and by Her controlling the money and making the rules is assured of it. All benefit from the harmony that results. Man are inferior to Women and should adopt a lifestyle that recognizes this.
